Anglesey pub celebrates successful re-opening under new management

A PUB in an Anglesey village has opened its doors again after being taken on by a new manager, who aims to provide the area with “family-friendly, food-orientated” establishment.

Tafarn Ty Gwyn, in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll (Llanfair PG), closed at the end of January, but has now resumed trade with new manager, Danielle Owen, in charge.

The pub, on Ffordd Caergybi, opened again on Friday, April 15, before its kitchen followed on Sunday, April 24.

It has also extended its opening hours, with customers welcome from 12pm onwards every day of the week.

Danielle said: “Since taking over, we are now open seven days a week, from 12pm.

“Our vision for the pub is to be a family-friendly, food-orientated pub at the heart of the community, with events and entertainment to suit all ages.”
