Anglesey singer-songwriter working on first album after debut single

A SINGER-songwriter based in Anglesey is working on his first album.

Josh Weaver, 30, is a solo artist living in Benllech, who plays gigs and teaches guitar in the area, but his passion lies within writing and performing his own songs.

On July 30, his debut single, “I’m Fine”, was finally released.

“I’m Fine” is a song about men’s mental health, and all of the profits from the singles in the first 12 months will be going to charities supporting this cause.

Josh has also been busy recording his album at Stiwdio Tyn Rhos in Anglesey, and hopes to release it in 2023.

The album is in English, but he’s hoping to branch out in the future and create some Welsh songs, too.
