Holyhead man to pay more than £400 after assaulting policeman in Gwynedd

A MAN from Holyhead has been ordered to pay in excess of £400 after he was found guilty of assaulting a policeman in Gwynedd last year.

John Hughes, 41, of Treseifion, was accused of assaulting Nicholas Thomas-Young, a police constable, at Caernarfon Police Station, by beating him on July 29, 2021.
