MENAI Bridge has now reopened following an earlier ‘police incident’.
Drivers were told to find alternative routes this evening as police closed off the bridge heading into Anglesey.
Officers issued a social media update stating that the closure in both directions of the bridge was due to an ‘ongoing incident’ that North Wales Police were attending.
Traffic reports stated: “A5 Menai Bridge closed due to police incident between A487 Treborth Road (Antelope Roundabout) and A545 Telford Road.”
