Gwynedd village in music studio and arts space plan
A village near Criccieth, rich in literary history and linked to David Lloyd George, may soon host a music studio and creative arts space pending approval from Gwynedd Council. The proposed development, led by Daniel Baker of W Thomas Baker Ltd and architect Andrew Casey, aims to complement the National Writing Centre of Wales, Tŷ Newydd. The project would repurpose an existing storage building on the estate’s grounds, enhancing the cultural legacy of the area. Tŷ Newydd, once the retirement home of Lloyd George, holds significance as a renowned literary hub owned by Literature Wales.
